NANUET: Three Arrested After Stolen Vehicle Pursuit Ends in Fiery Crash

A high-speed pursuit of a stolen vehicle ended in a fiery crash in Nanuet Sunday afternoon, with three suspects taken into custody by Law enforcement.

The pursuit, which reached speeds nearing 100 MPH, began on the Palisades Parkway and involved multiple law enforcement agencies, including the NJ Palisades Interstate Parkway Police, New York State Police, Rockland County Sherriff’s and Clarkstown Police Department. The chase came to a dramatic end near Exit 8E on-ramp of Route 59, at the entrance to the Palisades Interstate Parkway, where the suspect vehicle crashed into the woods and caught fire.

All three suspects were apprehended at the scene.

Emergency personnel rushed to the area, including Clarkstown Police, the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office, West Nyack Fire Department, Nanuet EMS, and Rockland Paramedics.

The investigation is ongoing.
