At approximately 10:35 a.m. Wednesday, a car crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of Drayton Place and Lawrence Street, snapping the pole in half.
Minor injuries were reported. Lawrence Street between Valley Drive and Drayton Place remains closed as crews work to clear the scene and repair the damage.
Clarkstown Police, Nanuet EMS, Chaverim of Rockland, Rockland Paramedics, and Orange & Rockland Utilities are on the scene.
