Moshe Hopstein Appointed to Rockland County Legislature at Tuesday Night’s Meeting

Moshe Hopstein was officially appointed as a Rockland County Legislator during Tuesday night’s legislative meeting, filling the vacancy left by Legislator Aron Wieder’s resignation earlier this month, as Monsey Scoop reported back then.

Hopstein will represent Legislative District 13, with his appointment sponsored by several legislators, including Hon. Jay Hood, Jr., Hon. Alden H. Wolfe, Hon. Paul C. Cleary, Hon. Beth J. Davidson, Hon. Toney L. Earl, Hon. Joel Friedman, Hon. Jesse M. Malowitz, Hon. Aney Paul, Hon. Philip Soskin, Hon. Dana G. Stilley, and Hon. Itamar J. Yeger.

The meeting, held at the Allison-Parris County Office Building, addressed various county matters, with Hopstein’s appointment marking a significant transition in the legislature. His addition to the board is expected to influence upcoming legislative decisions and district representation.
