Montefiore Nyack Hospital Opens Expanded Urology Center in Nyack

Montefiore Nyack Hospital and Highland Medical recently celebrated the opening of the new Urology Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new facility, located at 18 North Highland Avenue in Nyack, is designed to expand access to comprehensive urologic care for residents throughout Rockland County.

The center specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the urinary tract in both men and women. Board-certified urology specialists provide a full range of medical treatments, therapies, and surgical procedures for patients ages 16 and older.

“The opening of our new, expanded Urology Center further strengthens the comprehensive specialty care available at Montefiore Nyack Hospital,” said Dr. Anthony Matejicka, Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Montefiore Nyack Hospital. “As part of the Montefiore Health System, we are proud to bring the expertise, advanced resources, and innovation of a leading academic medical center closer to home, ensuring our patients can access exceptional urologic care right in their community.”

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Nyack Mayor Joseph Rand, who was recognized for his continued support, and U.S. Congressman Mike Lawler, who presented the Urology Center with a certificate commemorating the milestone.

Dr. Daniel E. Rabinowitz and the Highland Medical Urology team will continue providing specialized urologic care to patients from the center’s new, expanded location.
