Montefiore Nyack Hospital has received special recognition for excellence in critical care after its Intensive Care Unit (ICU) earned a Silver-Level Beacon Award for Excellence from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN).
The Beacon Award for Excellence is considered a significant milestone on the path to exceptional patient care, honoring hospital units that demonstrate outstanding performance, leadership, and a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes.
In announcing the achievement, the hospital praised its ICU staff, stating: “Congratulations to our Critical Care Nursing Team on receiving a silver-level Beacon Award of Excellence for the Intensive Care Unit from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
