Montefiore Nyack Hospital has announced the appointment of Mark P. Mercurio, CPA, MBA, as its new Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective immediately.
With 35 years of experience in healthcare finance, Mercurio joins Montefiore Nyack Hospital from White Plains Hospital, where he has served as Vice President of Finance since 2014. In that role, he oversaw financial operations, including treasury and investment management, payroll, procurement, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
Prior to his tenure at White Plains Hospital, Mercurio held senior financial roles at Barnabas Health, The Valley Health System, and Christian Health. He also has experience in the private sector with Ernst & Young, LLP.

Mercurio holds an MBA and a BS in Business Administration from Seton Hall University.
