MONTEBELLO: Tree Falls on Live Wires Along Robin Hood Road Near Heather Hill Lane, Ramapo TSU Secures Scene

On Thursday at approximately 5:00 p.m., a large tree fell onto live power lines along Robin Hood Road near Heather Hill Lane in Montebello, prompting an emergency response.

The Ramapo Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit (TSU) quickly arrived at the scene, secured the area, and closed the roadway to ensure public safety.

Orange & Rockland Utilities was notified and is responding to address the downed wires. Motorists are advised to avoid the area until it is deemed safe.
