On Tuesday at approximately 2:45 PM, a tree fell onto a truck at the intersection of Kevin Drive and Route 202 in Montebello, pulling live wires down with it.
The Tallman Fire Department, Faist EMS and Ramapo Police quickly responded to the scene.
Route 202 remains shut down in the immediate area as crews work to safely clear the scene and restore service. Motorists are urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
