A vehicle fire broke out in the parking lot of Seasons Express on Route 306 near Grandview Avenue, drawing a multi-agency response.
The vehicle’s owner, with help from several bystanders, was able to quickly knock down the flames before emergency crews arrived, preventing the fire from spreading or causing further damage.
Emergency personnel from the Hillcrest Fire Department, Ramapo Police Department, Hatzoloh EMS, Chaverim Of Rockland, Rockland Paramedics and Spring Hill EMS responded to the scene. Minor injuries were reported.
