On Monday afternoon at approximately 3:10 p.m., emergency personnel responded to an MVA after a vehicle struck a utility pole on West Carlton Road near Whisper Lane, causing live wires to come down.
Hatzoloh EMS and Faist EMS were on scene to treat the injured, while firefighters from the Tallman and Monsey Fire Departments worked alongside Ramapo Police to secure the area and manage traffic.
Orange & Rockland Utilities arrived shortly after to assess the damage to the pole and power lines. Crews remained at the location to make necessary repairs and ensure public safety.
