Ramapo Police identified and arrested the driver of the white Toyota Prius taxi that struck a Town of Ramapo code enforcement officer on Decatur Avenue near West Central Avenue earlier today. Sources tell Monsey Scoop the taxi driver was being ticketed by the officer when he backed up, struck the officer, and fled the scene.
