I think it a terrible thing that happened, and it should be reported. But maybe next time, don’t walk in the middle of the road.
The Bochurim were not standing in the way of the car. There are LPR cameras all over Monsey, including on West Maple. Shouldn’t be a big deal to get them.
Not only in the middle of the road but to the left of the double yellow lines. Roadways are for everyone – particularly vehicles. It is extremely selfish to put oneself in harm’s way and possibly cause an innocent driver to inadvertently strike you, at 2am no less!!
Exactly, millions spent on sidewalks, use them for pities sake. Reflectors too, which are also purchased with tax payer money, and readily available.
Walking down the middle of the road! That’s downright dangerous. However, the motorist’s reaction was completely unwarranted!
walking in middle of the road is more dangerous then spraying a liquid
Whether they shoukd have been walking in the middle of the street is not.the issue here. Getting sprayed by a car is an assault and shoukd not be ignored just because of where they were walking..
