MONSEY: Town of Ramapo Highway Department Completes Bates Drive Speed Bump Installation

The Town of Ramapo Highway Department has completed the installation of new speed bumps on Bates Drive, officially putting the traffic-calming measures into effect.

The project follows the installation of the required warning signs, which were placed in advance and covered until the speed bumps were ready. With the work now complete, the speed bumps are intended to help reduce vehicle speeds and improve safety for residents, pedestrians, and motorists traveling along Bates Drive.

Drivers are reminded to use caution when traveling through the area and to observe the newly installed traffic signage.
