The Town of Ramapo has installed a new flashing stop sign and crosswalk on West Central Avenue in both directions at the intersection of Adar Court in Monsey, converting the area into a 3-way stop.
Adar Court previously had a stop sign in place, but with the addition of stop signs on West Central Avenue, all directions are now required to stop.
The upgrade is aimed at improving pedestrian safety and overall traffic control. Motorists are urged to slow down, remain alert, and follow the new traffic pattern when traveling through the intersection.
