On Wednesday morning at approximately 8:30 a.m., a residential burglary on Maple Avenue near Jeffrey Place in Monsey led to the arrest of three suspects, thanks to the rapid response and coordination of Chaverim of Rockland and local law enforcement.
The suspects broke into the home and made off with several valuable items, including tefillin and a pocketbook. Chaverim of Rockland volunteers, who were alerted by the homeowner, quickly responded and spotted the suspects leaving the scene. The volunteers discreetly tailed the suspects while relaying real-time updates to authorities.
As the suspects crossed into Spring Valley, Ramapo Police and Spring Valley Police swiftly moved in. The trio attempted to flee on foot but were caught. All stolen items were recovered at the scene.
