At approximately 2:45 a.m. Monday morning, a sukkah at the Komada Beis Medrash, located at Maple Avenue and Morris Court in Monsey, suddenly collapsed while several individuals were attempting to dismantle it.

One person was pinned under the fallen structure and was rescued after Chaverim of Rockland arrived with special jacks to lift the debris and free the victim. Hatzoloh EMS, Monsey Fire Department, and Ramapo Police also responded to the scene.

A total of four people were injured in the collapse. Two victims were transported by Rockland Hatzoloh to Nyack Hospital with injuries but in stable condition, while two others were treated on scene.
