An MVA occurred Sunday afternoon at approximately 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Dolson Road and Remsen Avenue.
Hatzoloh EMS and Ramapo Police responded to the scene. Injuries were reported.
Following the crash, residents who spoke with Monsey Scoop raised concerns about ongoing safety issues at the intersection. They noted that Dolson Road is controlled only by a yield sign and said the location has been the site of numerous accidents in the past. Residents are now calling for the installation of a stop sign, saying it is crucial to improving safety at the intersection.
If Monsey drivers can’t understand what yield means then what makes you think they will understand what stop means? It seems that in Monsey, either directive is only a mere suggestion.
