MONSEY: Ramapo Police and Chaverim Of Rockland are Investigating Residential Break-In and Shul-Related Theft Over Shabbos

In the first incident, a homeowner near South Grandview Avenue and West Maple Avenue returned on Motzei Shabbos to find their residence ransacked. The homeowner, who had been away since Friday, discovered that the house had been broken into during Shabbos. The intruder stole money and other valuables before fleeing the scene. Authorities are urging anyone with information about this incident to contact the Ramapo Police at 845-357-2400 and the Chaverim of Rockland at 845-371-6333.

In a second incident nearby, a suspect entered a shul in the Albert Drive area and stole three sets of car keys. The individual used the keys to gain access to three vehicles, which he emptied of valuables before abandoning the keys inside the cars and fleeing. Law enforcement is actively searching for the suspect and is asking the public to remain vigilant. Authorities are reminding residents to remain cautious and report any suspicious activity as investigations continue.
