MONSEY: Plow Truck Snaps Utility Pole at Viola Road and West Maple Avenue

On Monday at approximately 3:00 p.m., Viola Road between West Maple Avenue and College Road was closed after a plow truck struck and completely snapped an electric pole.

Monsey Fire Department, Chaverim of Rockland, and Ramapo Police responded to the scene and worked to secure the area. Drivers were urged to avoid the vicinity and seek alternate routes as crews address the hazardous conditions.
