A plow truck caught fire Sunday on Nissan Court in Monsey, prompting a quick and coordinated emergency response from local authorities.
The Monsey Fire Department was dispatched to the scene after reports of a truck fire. Upon arrival, firefighters quickly located the burning plow truck and brought the flames under control, extinguishing the fire before it could spread to nearby structures or vehicles.
The Ramapo Police Department also responded and assisted with traffic control and securing the scene while emergency operations were underway. Additionally, volunteers from Chaverim of Rockland were on scene to provide emergency support.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
