MONSEY: Late-Night Vehicle Break-Ins Lead to Ramapo Police Arrest Near Old Nyack Turnpike

A suspect was arrested by the Ramapo Police Department early Wednesday morning following a report of vehicle break-ins in the parking lot at 274 Old Nyack Turnpike, near the intersection of Old Nyack Road and Route 45.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:45 a.m. after a passerby witnessed the activity and contacted police. Responding officers deployed the department’s Rapid Aviation drone unit to assist with aerial surveillance and located the suspect a short time later on Fairview Avenue, where the arrest was made. The Spring Valley Police Department also assisted at the scene.
