A head-on collision was reported at approximately 11:50 p.m. Monday night at the intersection of Homestead Lane and Main Street in Monsey. Emergency personnel including Hatzoloh EMS, Spring Hill EMS, the Monsey Fire Department, Chaverim of Rockland volunteers, and Ramapo Police responded to the scene.
Sources tell Monsey Scoop that Chaverim of Rockland volunteers, along with a Ramapo Police officer, assisted in extricating a victim from one of the vehicles. Serious damage was reported to the vehicles involved. One patient was transported by Hatzoloh EMS to Good Samaritan Hospital. Minor injuries were reported.
