MONSEY: Garbage Truck Fire On Route 306 Quickly Extinguished by Fast-Responding Monsey FD

On Wednesday afternoon, a garbage truck caught fire at West Maple Avenue and Route 306, prompting a rapid response from the Monsey Fire Department, which arrived within a minute and quickly knocked down the flames, preventing major damage to the vehicle.

The supervisor from IWS told Monsey Scoop he is grateful for Monsey FD’s swift action.

Chaverim of Rockland and Ramapo Police also assisted on the scene.
