MONSEY: Firefighters Rescue Occupants from Stalled Elevator at Downtown 33

On Wednesday afternoon, the Monsey Fire Department and Ramapo Police responded to an emergency at the Downtown 33 office building on Route 59, where an elevator had stalled between two floors.

Firefighters swiftly arrived at the scene and safely rescued the trapped occupants using a ladder. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
