On Friday night, the Monsey Fire Department swiftly responded to an automatic alarm, arriving at the Monsey Florist shop located in the Monsey Hub at the intersection of Robert Pitt Drive and Route 59. Heavy smoke and flames were detected at the scene, but the fire sprinkler system managed to contain the blaze until the department fully extinguished it.

Firefighters ensured that the fire was brought under control to prevent further damage.

The Chaverim of Rockland Shabbos patrol goyim, assisting the Ramapo Police Department, helped secure the scene by boarding up the storefront. An investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway.
