Monsey Fire Communications Dispatchers Visit Rockland County Sheriff’s 911 Center

Monsey Fire Communications Dispatchers visited the Rockland County Sheriff’s 911 Communications Center in Pomona on Tuesday morning to further strengthen cooperation and working relationships between the agencies. The Sheriff’s 911 Center also operates 44-Control, the central dispatching hub for fire agencies across Rockland County.

The visit, led by Chief of Communications Adam Feuer, included a tour of the center, discussions on training, and opportunities for dispatchers to observe operations firsthand. The session also focused on pre-holiday preparations to ensure smooth coordination during the busy season.

Chief Feuer, a longtime friend of the community, has been working closely with the Monsey Fire Department on communications and dispatching initiatives for years. Widely recognized as a dedicated professional and strong leader, he continues to play a vital role in building collaboration between countywide emergency agencies.

Monsey Fire officials noted that their communications team plans to visit additional agencies in the coming days as part of an ongoing effort to enhance interagency cooperation and readiness.
