MONSEY: Fire Breaks Out on Electric Pole on Dolson Road

Emergency personnel are on the scene of a fire involving an electric pole on Dolson Road near Remsen Avenue. The blaze, which started when wires on the pole ignited, has since spread to nearby bushes.

The Monsey Fire Department, Chaverim of Rockland, and Ramapo Police are actively working to contain the fire. Orange and Rockland Utilities have also dispatched teams to address the situation. As a result of the ongoing response efforts, Dolson Road is closed from Remsen Avenue to College Road.

Authorities advise motorists to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while the situation is managed.
