The Eruv of Monsey released its weekly inspection report ahead of Shabbos Parshas Tetzaveh, detailing repairs and upgrades completed across multiple sections of the Eruv.
According to the report, a total of 23 issues were identified this week and entered into the Eruv checking app system. Of those, 13 were classified as not kosher and required immediate repair, four were categorized as high-priority upgrades, and six were listed as medium- or low-priority maintenance items. All necessary work was completed prior to Shabbos.
In the Airmont and Suffern Eruv sections, crews repaired a broken PVC pipe along Cragmere Road in Mahwah, New Jersey. On Airmount Road in Mahwah, two separated PVC pipes were reconnected, and branches pushing against the Eruv wire were cleared at two separate locations.
Within the Monsey Rambam Eruv, maintenance teams untangled a string caught in wires on Spook Rock Road and repaired broken construction fencing on Homestead Lane. On Viola Road, after a utility pole was struck by a snow plow, crews installed two new PVC pipes and a new string, and repaired an additional damaged PVC pipe.
In Spring Valley, branches pushing against the Eruv wire along Dutch Lane were trimmed back. In Pearl River, crews cut branches on Loescher Lane that had been pulling down the Eruv string.
Additional repairs were carried out in the Pomona and Wesley Hills sections. Along Route 202 in Pomona, two separated PVC pipes were reconnected. On Route 202 in Wesley Hills, crews replaced a missing cap on a PVC pipe and straightened a misaligned, zig-zagging PVC to ensure proper positioning beneath the wire.
In the Upper Saddle River Eruv section in New Jersey, multiple branch obstructions were cleared. On Hampshire Hill Road, branches pushing and pulling down the Eruv string were trimmed. Similar branch clearing was completed on Fox Hill Lane and Hillside Avenue.
Eruv officials confirmed that all identified issues were successfully repaired and that every section of the Eruv of Monsey is fully kosher heading into Shabbos.
