MONSEY: Driver Suffers Medical Emergency, Leading to Car Crash on Route 59 Near Robert Pitt Drive; Injuries Reported

A car accident occurred this morning on Route 59 near Robert Pitt Drive, just in front of M&T Bank. The vehicle involved veered off the road, crashing into nearby bushes. Emergency personnel from Hatzoloh EMS and the Ramapo Police Department were on the scene.

According to initial reports, injuries have been sustained and the driver was transported by Hatzoloh EMS to a nearby hospital. Sources tell Monsey Scoop that the accident was triggered by a medical emergency experienced by the driver, leading to the vehicle’s sudden loss of control.

The video also shows multiple cars and pedestrians passing by the scene, with not a single person or vehicle stopping to assist, despite the clear distress. Authorities are investigating the incident.
