MONSEY: Child Suffers Skull Fracture After Fall at Construction Site on Warren Court Shabbos Morning; Rockland Hatzoloh Transports to Hackensack Hospital

On Shabbos morning at approximately 9:20 a.m., Rockland Hatzoloh responded to a construction site on Warren Court in Monsey for reports of a 5- to 6-year-old child who was in and out of consciousness following a fall.

Sources tell Monsey Scoop that there are conflicting reports from witnesses — all of whom were children — with some saying the child may have fallen approximately 12 to 15 feet from the main floor into the basement area, while others reported he may have only fallen a few steps, striking his head on a concrete stair.

The child was treated on scene by Rockland Hatzoloh paramedics and transported to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he suffered a skull fracture. Baruch Hashem, he is expected to make a full recovery.

Ramapo Police were on the scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

  1. CPS should be involved to investigate how this could have happened. Then, the Building Department should shut the site down until they figure out how this happened. And, check for building permits and licensed contractors.
