Heavy flooding was narrowly avoided at the Viznitzer Beis Medrash on Phyllis Terrace after a clogged drainage system caused water to rapidly accumulate outside the building. Chaverim of Rockland volunteers responded quickly, cleared the blocked drain, and prevented water from entering the Heichel HaTorah, averting what could have been significant damage.
