MONSEY: Chaverim of Rockland Aids Ramapo Police in Arrest of Intoxicated Suspect Found in Vehicle

A suspect was taken into custody early Sunday morning by the Ramapo Police Department, with the assistance of Chaverim of Rockland volunteers, after he was found inside a vehicle near the intersection of Union Road and Viola Road.

Sources tell Monsey Scoop that the vehicle’s owner discovered the suspect inside his car and immediately alerted authorities. It is currently unclear if anything was stolen from the vehicle. The suspect appeared to be intoxicated at the time of the incident.

Following the arrest, the individual was turned over to the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office due to an open warrant.
