Monsey Cab Driver Goes the Extra Mile

A Monsey woman experienced a moment of panic this week when she realized her diamond ring had slipped off during a cab ride. What could have been a hopeless ending turned into an inspiring act of honesty and dedication — all thanks to a dedicated customer service team from Arrive Cab Company.

The woman, who asked to remain anonymous, had just exited the cab when she noticed her ring was missing. “My heart dropped,” she said. “I retraced my steps, called the cab company — I was ready to give up.”

But the Arrive Cab driver wasn’t. Upon receiving the call, he didn’t just check the seat —the dedicated employees at the office fully disassembled the backseat, combing through every crevice until, unbelievably, he spotted a glint wedged deep inside the frame.

“I couldn’t believe it,” the woman shared in a voice still full of emotion. “He could’ve easily said, ‘Sorry, didn’t see anything.’ But instead, he spent the time and effort to really look. Who does that these days?”

The driver returned the ring refusing any reward. “Just doing the right thing,” he said with a smile. In a world often moving too fast to notice the small things, this story is a beautiful reminder that integrity and kindness still shine — sometimes brighter than diamonds. Kudos to Arrive Cab Company for proving that real service still exists.
