MIDNIGHT HEIST FOILED: Spring Valley Cops Nab Suspects During Jewelry Store Break-In

A overnight burglary attempt at Kimiya Jewelers was swiftly thwarted thanks to the rapid response of the Spring Valley Police Department.

Around midnight Sunday, two suspects shattered the front glass of the jewelry store at 175 Route 59 and began grabbing merchandise. But before they could make a clean getaway, Spring Valley officers—alerted by witnesses—descended on the scene.

The suspects attempted to flee on foot upon realizing police were closing in, but officers pursued and caught them just a short distance from the store. Both suspects were taken into custody without further incident.

New York State Police responded as well and assisted at the scene.
