A significant water main break occurred today on Route 59 between Brookside Avenue and North Airmont Road, causing major disruptions in the area. Veolia Water crews have responded and are currently on the scene working to manage and repair the situation.

In response to the incident, the Ramapo Police Department has closed Route 59 between Brookside Avenue and North Airmont Road to all traffic. The closure is expected to remain in effect until repairs are completed.
