Man Arrested By Ramapo Police for Public Lewdness in Chestnut Ridge

On June 3rd, The Ramapo Police Department (RPD) responded to reports of a suspicious male in a vehicle exposing himself to female pedestrians in a residential area of Chestnut Ridge. Following a detailed investigation, RPD Detectives identified both the vehicle and the suspect involved.

On June 5th, a 31-year-old male from Greenwood Lake, NY, was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including five counts of Public Lewdness, five counts of Exposure of a Person, two counts of Public Lewdness in the First Degree, and three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Orders of Protection were issued for each of the victims.

The suspect was released on appearance tickets, with no bail, and is required to appear in the Village of Chestnut Ridge Justice Court at a later date.
