Leandra’s Law DWI Arrest: Montebello Resident Faces Multiple Charges

In an early morning incident on December 16th, a Montebello resident was arrested under Leandra’s Law for driving intoxicated with his wife and two children in the car.

The 32-year-old now faces multiple charges, including endangering the welfare of a child, aggravated DWI, and standard DWI.

All charges are elevated to felonies due to a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years. The defendant was released with a desk appearance ticket and is expected to appear in the Town of Ramapo court later this month.

This incident underscores the dangers of driving under the influence, especially when children are at risk.
