Late-Night DWI Bust in New Hempstead: Ramapo Police Officer Nabs Impaired Driver

On Wednesday night around 11:50 pm, a Ramapo Police Officer on DWI patrol stopped a vehicle in New Hempstead for multiple traffic violations.

Upon investigation, signs of impairment and drug use were observed in the 45-year-old male driver from Spring Valley.

He was arrested for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs (cannabis) and arraigned. The case has been forwarded to the Village of New Hempstead Justice Court.
