On Thursday night, members of the Kiryas Joel Fire Department visited New Square Ershte Hilf for an in-depth training and discussion session focusing on emergency response protocols.
The training covered a wide range of call types commonly encountered by first responders, with a particular emphasis on carbon monoxide incidents, including how to assess and stabilize situations until the fire department arrives, and how to handle them safely and efficiently.
The collaborative training aimed to strengthen coordination between both organizations, enhance response efficiency, and ensure community safety through shared experience and knowledge.
