KIDDUSH HASHEM: Monsey EMT Assists Ill Passenger En Route to Israel

An ordinary flight to Israel took a turn when an elderly man on board began to feel unwell. Fortunately for the ailing passenger, a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) from Monsey was aboard and ready to assist.

Levi Nussenzweig, the EMT in question, was on his way to visit the Sanzer Rebbe in Netanya for Rosh Hashanah. As the United Airlines flight cruised at altitude, a call came over the PA system requesting assistance from anyone with a medical background, as a passenger was feeling faint.

Without hesitation, Nussenzweig responded. He swiftly assessed the man’s vitals and overall condition, determining that the flight could safely continue without jeopardizing the passenger’s health.

Thanks to Nussenzweig’s quick action and expertise, the situation was swiftly resolved. After the emergency was handled, passengers, including a grateful elderly gentleman, settled back into their seats for an uneventful remainder of the journey.
