Judge Straus, Trustees Moses and Weiss Sworn In for New Term in Airmont

Rockland County Clerk Donna Silberman administered the oath of office on Monday to Village Justice Alan J. Straus and re-elected Trustees Shimon Moses and Isaac Weiss, marking the start of another term of service for the three officials in the Village of Airmont.

Judge Straus, who previously served as Associate Justice and now continues as Village Justice, is well-respected in the local legal community. Known for handling a record number of arraignments for other judges in the region, his extensive experience and commitment to justice have earned him broad support.

Trustees Moses and Weiss also begin their new terms with a continued focus on serving the Airmont community and advancing the village’s priorities. Monday’s ceremony reaffirmed the community’s confidence in their leadership.
