A woman was assaulted and robbed at approximately 10:45 p.m. Monday evening on E. Hickory Street in Hillcrest. Sources tell Monsey Scoop that the victim was approached by a African American male wearing a black face covering, black pants, and a black jacket.
The suspect brandished a knife before taking the victim’s pink iPhone 15, black purse, and a smaller brown handbag. He then fled the scene on foot, heading toward North Main Street.
Ramapo Police, the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office, and Spring Hill EMS responded to the incident. Authorities are actively searching for the suspect and investigating the robbery.
