Emergency personnel responded at approximately 7:00 a.m. Sunday to a reported structure fire at 2 Michele Court. Hillcrest and New City fire departments were dispatched after multiple 911 calls reported a 20-by-10-foot shed fully engulfed in flames with a propane tank inside. The shed was approximately 15 feet from a nearby home, raising concerns that the fire could spread to the residence. The Nanuet Fire Department and Ramapo Police were also requested to the scene. Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control.
