Hillcrest Fire Department Hosts Successful Open House Event {PHOTOS & VIDEOS}

This past Sunday, Hillcrest Fire Department held an exciting and educational Open House event at their station located on North Main Street. The event, which ran from 11 AM to 3 PM, welcomed families and residents from across the community for a day filled with hands-on experiences and fun activities.

Visitors had the unique opportunity to try on firefighter gear, operate a fire hose, and interact with “Sparky the Dog,” the beloved fire safety mascot. A bouncy house provided entertainment for children, while live fire demonstrations offered a glimpse into the courageous work that firefighters do every day.

The event also featured food, refreshments, and many more activities that allowed attendees to get an up-close look at how the firehouse operates and the essential services it provides.
