A multi-vehicle accident involving a garbage truck occurred Tuesday afternoon at approximately 3:00 p.m. on the NYS Thruway Exit 15A on-ramp.
The Hillburn Fire Department, Ramapo Police Department, and Spring Hill EMS all responded to the scene. Injuries have been reported.
Traffic in the area was temporarily affected as emergency personnel worked to clear the roadway and assist those involved. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
