Herman (Hershey) Bineth Appointed as New Member of Ramapo Planning Board Following Recent Vacancy

In a move to fill a recent vacancy, the Ramapo Town Board appointed Herman (Hershey) Bineth as a new member of the Planning Board during last night’s meeting. The vacancy arose following the resignation of a previous member, and Bineth’s appointment is seen as a significant step in ensuring the continued efficiency and effectiveness of the board.

Yisroel Eisenbach, Chairman of the Ramapo Planning Board, expressed his enthusiasm for the new appointment. “We are looking forward to having Herman Bineth join us on the Planning Board. His experience and dedication will undoubtedly be a valuable asset, and we welcome him with open arms. We are confident that with his involvement, the board will continue to achieve great success, and he will be instrumental in helping us navigate the challenges ahead.”

Supervisor Michael Specht also shared his thoughts with Monsey Scoop on the new appointment. “The Planning Board plays a critical role in shaping the future of our town, and it is essential that we have committed and capable individuals like Herman Bineth in place. His appointment is a positive step for Ramapo, and I am certain that he will serve our community with the highest level of integrity and dedication.”

Planning Board members in all towns and villages are appointed by the governing board. In towns, this responsibility typically falls to the supervisor and council members, while in villages, it is handled by the board of trustees. Last night’s appointment of Herman Bineth by the Town of Ramapo underscores the importance of such roles in local governance and land use planning.
