HELMETS SAVE LIVES: Child Struck by Taxi on Route 306 and Edison Court in Monsey, Sustains Minor Injuries

On Thursday afternoon, a child riding a bicycle was struck by a taxi at the intersection of Route 306 and Edison Court.

Fortunately, the child was wearing a helmet, which prevented serious injury. Rockland Hatzoloh and Ramapo Police quickly responded to the scene. The child sustained only minor injuries.

This incident serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of helmets in protecting cyclists.

  1. Another electric “bicycle”. When will parents realize that you are giving your children who don’t follow the rules of the road, something that amounts to a motorcycle that lacks safety equipment such as brake lights, headlights, and turn signals? Never mind that the rule of the road aren’t being followed, and they are passing where a motorcycle would never pass or running stop sign la and red lights.
