HELMETS ARE A MUST — THIS COULD HAVE ENDED VERY DIFFERENTLY: Bochur Seriously Injured In Scooter Crash, Helmet Likely Saved His Life

Following last night’s serious scooter accident in Monsey, a bochur who was struck while riding was wearing a helmet, which likely saved his life. He was initially unconscious at the scene but has since regained consciousness. He remains seriously injured; however, Bechasdei Hashem, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Hatzoloh EMS transported him to Westchester Medical Center for further treatment.

As previously reported by Monsey Scoop, the incident occurred at the intersection of College Road and Carlton Road at approximately 9:05 p.m., when the bochur was struck by a vehicle.

His name for Tehillim is Yosef Dovid ben Baila Rechel.
