In a show of unity and support for Eretz Yisroel, a large crowd of men, women, and children convened at Haverstraw Town Hall on Tuesday evening to ceremoniously raise an Israeli flag.
The evening’s proceedings commenced with a heartfelt prayer delivered by Rabbi Dovid Bartfeld, Rav of Khal Mevakshei Hashem of Haverstraw. Following the rabbi’s invocation, Haverstraw Supervisor Howard Phillips addressed the gathering, underscoring the town’s solidarity with the Israeli people.
NY State Senator Bill Weber also addressed the attendees, expressing his gratitude for towns like Haverstraw taking such a stance. He emphasized the importance of unity and standing together against Hamas-related terror.
