The Town of Haverstraw held a Law Enforcement Awards and Recognition Ceremony on Tuesday evening to honor the dedicated members of the Haverstraw Police Department for their outstanding service and commitment to the community.
Hosted by Town Supervisor Howard Phillips and the Town Board, the ceremony recognized officers for their professionalism, exceptional work, and dedication throughout the year.
Chief of Police John Gould Jr., alongside members of the department’s administration, presented awards and acknowledgments to officers who demonstrated excellence in carrying out their duties and protecting residents of the Town of Haverstraw.
During the ceremony, town officials praised the department for its continued efforts in maintaining public safety and serving the community with integrity and dedication.
The Haverstraw Police Department also expressed appreciation to the Town of Haverstraw for hosting the special event and for its ongoing support of the department and its mission to keep the community safe.
